After leaving Point State Park in Pittsburgh, I traveled along the Mon for about 15 miles before reaching McKeesport where I turned to follow the Yough. It was about here that that trail turned from being mixed between roads and shared paths to a converted rail road. About 12 miles from my campground for the night, I decided to stop and have lunch at the Dravo Cemetery Campgrounds where I set up my hammock and hung out for a bit before continuing on. Once I reached West Newton the campgrounds were only about a 20 minute ride forward. After setting up camp, I made some dinner, fettuccine and tinned smoked trout, and went to bed.
